Professional Staff

PCA Utah staff members are highly trained professionals in the area of child abuse and neglect. Staff members come from various educational backgrounds including economics, social work, communications and child and family studies. The staff is also diverse in that it includes males and females of various races and cultural backgrounds, two of whom are fluent in both English and Spanish.

Staff members are familiar with, and understand the laws about, child abuse, as they relate to public schools and the legal system. Staff members receive regular training on child abuse and neglect issues. Staff members attend various conferences and PCA Utah administration invites outside agencies and professionals with various expertise to update and train the staff. PCA Utah staff members have the skills necessary to effectively educate children and adults on the prevention of child abuse.
