Thanks to all those who joined us for the First Annual Prevent Child Abuse 5K Walk on October 2, 2010.
These are shocking statistics but few people are aware of them. Even fewer know what they can do to help reduce these numbers. As concerned citizens, each of us can do something to bring awareness and prevent child abuse in our communities. It takes one step. And then another.

The first Child Abuse Awareness Walk kicks off at Sugar House Park.

Families enjoyed a walk in the park while supporting PCAU.

Kids enjoyed balloons and face painting.

All money raised went to prevention programs in Utah schools.

It was a beautiful day enjoyed by all.

School of Rock entertained attendees at a concert after the walk.

Families enjoyed a fun time learning about and supporting PCAU.

Max International, one of PCAU's largest supporters, brought their
travel truck. It went across the country during the
Max International Momentum Tour.

Erni Armstrong, PCAU Board President, and Marci Nordberg, PCAU
Board Member, helped organize the event along with several other
members of the PCAU's Board of Directors and volunteers.

PCAU thanks the many supporters, participants and volunteers who
made this great event possible.
