PCAU offers prevention programs to students, faculty, parents and community members. Prevention programs for parents educate parents on how to prevent their children from internet predation, as well as recognizing the signs that your child is bullying, or the victim of bullying. PCAU offers programs for educators as well. If educators are trained to recognize the signs of all forms of child abuse, they can be the tool that stops abuse by taking action and reporting it to administrators and law officials. Prevention programs teach educators and parents the importance of being aware and active in the lives of children. Preventing and ending child abuse is crucial to building a safe, healthy, and strong community.
